PURGATORY officially started in the beginning of 1993 as the continuation of the two bands MUSICAL MASSACRE and PROCESSION.
Influenced by the early bands like IMMOLATION, ASPHYX, INCANTATION and AUTOPSY. Their music is deeply rooted in Old School Death Metal, especially the kind with a morbid and evil atmosphere.
